Here you can see the motherboard inside the tower, quite neat compared to my old AmigaOne system I used to have.

Hi,

@sicky,

Glad to see you back, welcome to the looney bin. Waiting to hear what you are going to do with this machine.

OK, in case you didn't know I am the sick and extreme looney one of the group, I just purchased OS 4.1 for my classic Amiga, and it runs so slow, that an 8088 running windows 7 would probably be faster and multi task better.

Keep us informed on how this computer does, don't really want to waste more money unless I hear from several owners that the computer is great.

Tell us how fast it operates, and what programs you are using. Maybe, just maybe, I will like what I hear and buy one, but right now my OS 3.9 running on my Amiga 1200 makes OS 4.1 look like (can't say the word sheet on Amiga Org, Karlos the moderator is watching my every word).

Oh, for more programs on OS 4.0 go to the OS4depot, has lots of stuff on their.

I have no idea what your talking about, so here is a doggy with a small pancake on his head.

MorphOS is a MAC done a little better

So far I have just been browsing the web, chatting via Wookiechat, using an old favorite Photogenics 4 and basic stuff like that.

Seems to run quite smoothly, not as fast as Amithlon on my old PC system tho. Looking to upgrade the version of Hollywood and Designer I have as neither runs correctly, hope a more OS4 friendly version is available now. Photogenics 4, ArtEffect both work fine and run smoothly.

Using OWB as main browser, IBrowse (an old favorite of mine) runs fine too, Timberwolf woorks but is very buggy but it's early days I guess!

I have also tried old favorite Final Writer and this works well, as does Amiga Writer, haven't yet installed Pagestream but will when I get a chance.

Yes it does, went to ANT usergroup meeting on Sunday, they welcomed me with open arms and were very helpful, it felt like I had never been away from the Amiga scene!
