Maybe the currency conversion is causing my confusion, but what do you get for £250?   Is this just the hardware?  All this hardware is off-the-shelf, and available rather cheap.  I assume with the iMica your getting something turn key?

You need to do a hack to install Ubuntu, but other Linux distros work out of the box.
