Does it come with the original box?
No, but I have a pristine A4000T in its original box completely unused except to upgrade (CSPPC, Mediator + 9200, Deneb, CD/DVD-RW, ZorRam 256, SCSI Card reader) with dual boot OS 3.9/4.1 and only used to test upgrades with unopened disks, manuals, keyboard and mouse.  It is a backup clone of my main A4000T.

What would be THE REAL benefit of having the Bridgeboard card VS SBC (Single Board Computer) with same or better specs?
$400 vs $100 for SBC.
I have Pentium SBC 266MHz with 128MB RAM in my A2000, runs all early 3D games very well, Win95 etc. File transfer is done via LAN.
A500 KS 2.1, 1MB Chip, 68000
A600 KS 3.1, 2MB Chip, ACA630 32MB RAM
A1000 KS 1.3, 8MB RAM
A1200 KS 3.1, Blizzard IV 50MHz 64MB RAM
A2000 KS 2.1, 68030 25MHz, 6MB RAM
A3000 KS 3.1, 68030 25MHz, 16MB RAM

I have a year 2000 Celeron 500 MHz notebook that runs the heck out of those games and sits quite out of the way on top of my Amiga; no need for KVM or any such crap. File transfer via DVD, Ethernet, USB  and even floppy.

I run dosbox inside parrellels on my i7 Mac mini so I can use my Roland MT-32 synth via USB midi interface (Mac dosbox doesn't work with midi).

I don't see the point to having old PC hardware, it's just a slower version of what we have today!

Thats quiet cool ! where do you get these from ? do they have graphics, sound and network integrated as well ?

as stated above, the only benefit i see from a bridgeboard is that you can use isa networkccards in the big box amigas. ISA sound and graphics card may be not much of a benefit for sharing.

how much power does that card drain ? I am a little worried about the poor 25 year old a2000 psu dying faster than necessary....

But there is a new network card coming from jens, which might have usb upgrade capacity as well (i guess that explains the recent surge in ariadnes on the market, people trying to get primerates on their hw as long as there is a shortage)

Here is a great deal for C-128 users. An ebay seller has made a run of the 64Kb VDC RAM board for the C-128. His price is rather good, at $15.00 and free shipping. Link is:

This guy is great to deal with too. He is 8 bit only, but you should know about him.
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse

This is all the same sort of thing and its a word called GREED.
Use ther word AMIGA and the sellers actualy think in there own GREEDY head that people will fall over them selvs to go out and buy it.

I hate those type of people who think that others are far to stupid as to PAY.
GREED some people over rate what they have, its a sick world we live in.
Ask a reasonable price yes of course but some of the prices are just plain GREEDY.

It makes me real sick to see it.
3 years ago I asked a seller "Hi there is the asking price correct? £350.00 for a Amiga 1200 motherboard in fair condition?" He replied by saying he will report me to eBay, but of course nothing happened. In the end the 1200 motherboard did not sell.
Why would he report me to eBay for asking a question in the first place is beyond me.
Buit I suspect some sellers are under the impression they can ask what they want for what ever they want and with no one asking "Is this right"
Stupidity and greed at its best

Yeah, not the same one though, I mean .. it is the same part but I don't think he got it from him :)

Myvbay2009 has had one (or more) for sale for over a year and I have sent several offers but never close enough for him to accept I guess ...

Some day I might break down and offer more or BIN .. but I guess I have enough other projects for now so I am not too worried !
