To the best of my recollection, I bought one about 10 - 12 years ago, for $65...

Which makes me wonder how much she paid for hers...

stupid woman has dropped it to $400 auction, $500 buy now! *facepalm*

Not so crazy price.
Bought an A2000 from someone close to home that had been posted on Ebay.
$45.

Of course, anything I add to it will end up costing me an arm and a leg.

He is selling an A500 "upgraded to a 1000." Huh? Or perhaps "upgraded to 100." We may never know WTF that means without bidding $10. Ah, the follies of the silly!

I would guess it's expanded to 1mb, probably assumed that it was called amiga 500 because it had half a meg of ram.

It will be interesting to see whether the a4000 hits the reserve price, if only so we know what it is.

I recently sold one for nearly double that, fortunately they collected it as I wasn't looking forward to shipping it. I kept dreaming about putting a 2091 and a 2630 in it to bring it up to a2500/30 spec, but just couldn't bring myself to pay the silly prices (especially after getting ripped off on amibay for a 2091 that never turned up).

I wonder how many times people will list things for stupid prices, before they realise its not the buyers that are at fault...

There was a chick at a beauty supply eBay store auctioning/best offer a highly damaged A3000 starting at $1000. I bid $200 each time she relisted it with a lower price, finally I listed all the problems that I would have to correct. She got angry and took someone's offer for $300

I'm not sure there is much more in it, the buy it now is ridiculous.

That's the disk controller I'm looking for, but the prices are on the high side (especially when I compare the lower price and much higher performance I have with U320 drives on one NG system).
I missed a chance to get an '040 accelerator a few days ago .

Not a bad price (about twice what everyone is asking for the 2091).

And I have a 33MHz 68040 I could have used to upgrade that board to at least 30MHz.

Not crazy - but if you are looking an A1000 here is a chance for what may end up as a fair price (not my auction)

Unfortunately this knucklehead IS.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160985668745

I emailed him to let him know one just this week had sold for $130 and his response was he couldn't be responsible for what other sellers sold their stuff for and IF it didn't sell he was going to RAISE the price!

Really?!?!?!
