Pardon my ignorance for asking, but does EasyNet Pro support VPNs?  I use HotSpot Shield on my other non-Amiga devices.

I guess I now know why my direct emails to support on standard EasyNet have gone unanswered. :/

I'm still curious, does it use BGUI? With all the hoopla about ReAction (or ClassAct) being the official GUI toolkit for AmigaOS, it's sort of fun to see that other toolkits are used.

No I have written it using plain GadTools :)  It has to work on lower spec Amigas, so GadTools is a good base level IMHO.

@Amigakit,

It would interesting to see a comparison between this and Roadshow. Ease of set-up, speed, etc....

Will the SMB also works with Windows 8.1 shares?

Hi I will second that as I have to use Roadshow  because I only once got easynet to work and cant keep spending money on some thing that I can not get to work probably because my lack of ability ,but the end result remains the same which is usually no internet , which is a shame as I would gladly use easynet,best wishes Brian.

A-ha, yes it makes total sense to just use GadTools :)

Have to admit I've been spoiled by Miami over the years. I'm assuming EasyNet is faster/better throughput, but can anyone tell me the following:

- Can it be configured to start with Workbench? (I'm assuming so)
- Does it have an AppIcon on desktop to easily click to go offline/online?
- Does it have a way to automatically sync system clock with NTP server?

I'd be interested to try it if it offers measurably better throughput, but not if it lacks items 2 & 3. ;)

Thanks! :)
