Hi please check out my detailed interview with RJ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkOfi05ED5c
We discuss:
- Amiga Pioneering years
- Amiga Culture
- Lynx and Atari
- Google Artificial intelligence
- Amiga's fans and Amiga in Japan
The audio is not the best so I have painstakingly added subtitles thus the late release
Cheers
-
Thanks for sharing and for the interview! :-)

Thanks for another fine video. :) I have shared it on my blog to help spreading it. Keep up the good work!

Hmmm - is it just me who has problems with the videos audio? Here I have set the volume of the YouTube Video Player to maximuim, as well as the computer's volume.
But I can hear near to nothing - not to mention understanding...
:(

Could you please release a transcription of this, not everyone has the bandwidth for video...

The 1990's called, they want their dial-up modem back.

@ theformula
thanks for posting!
RJ was and still is a cool dude like, once an amigan always one:)

And what has one to do to make them visible?
Here I cannot see any subtitles...could this be due to my Location?
As Youtube often tells us that we can't see this or that video clip, as it would contain stuff that is copyrighted here in Germany...

It was one of the buttons below, left from preferences to select resolution.

@Oldsmobile_Mike:
I'm not using dial-up, why would you think that? Most users, in this country at least, do not have an unlimited data cap.
In a situation like this where the interview has already been transcribed, there is no reason not to upload the transcript, that is anyway a quicker way to absorb the information than watching a video.
-
Huh? In this day and age? Fiber here, 75 up and down, no cap. Taxed to death I suspect. We are getting close here!
-
Yeah Mike, ya dope! Dial up indeed

Hey it is the latest and greatest, it is 300 baud, can't afford one of them fancy 1200 baud modems, don't you know

Well, IIRC, I still have my old 2.4 kBaud modem in a cardboard box in the cellar, somewhere. So, if you like, you can have it...original German Post (now Telekom) modem with "FTZ" approval number...did cost a fortune back then...
Yeah - 300 baud - that was the speed at which I made my first data transmissions. Used a self-soldered acoustic coupler (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akustikkoppler#/media/File:Coupleur-accoustique-IMG_0298.JPG) for it...
