Converting a PC floppy drive to work on an amiga
« on: May 28, 2020, 01:05:08 PM »
I have noticed there are a few ideas floating around on how to modify a PC floppy drive so that it will work on an amiga computer.
Any thoughts on this and has anyone actually succeeded in achieving this.  I acquired an old PC floppy drive today and if I can find out how to have a go at it, I will give it a go. Nothing ventured, nothing gained I reckon, the drive was being thrown out anyway and it cost me zip. I have reasonable soldering skills and have been a tinkerer pretty well most of my life, so I can usually work out how to pull something apart and get it back together without wrecking it.

Pretty sure this is the same as the one shown in the link, but mine has no jumpers at all to move, can one just solder a wire or are they specific values.
