I used to use that. But I've found DVD's that it is incompatable with.

I've been thinking about Denon. If I buy a new CD player soon, I'll probably be getting a Denon professional - C680 ? . Not sure of the model number...

Anyway, I need a DVD player that is just perfect for home theater and huge screens.

Features and image quality are important.

Of course! Krell! (krellonline.com)

I'm very impressed by the Krell range.

My only complaint however, is that there doesn't seem to be an option to not have data/menus superimposed on the screen. Not good for home theater. Oh well ... keep looking.

:)

I second the Denon. They offer something in just about every price point, but the mid-range offers top notch quality with an almost reasonable price.

A good friend of mine just picked up a Moon (http://www.simaudio.com/mooncalypso.htm) DVD player for a cool $4K (and that's with a 50% discount :-o). I think he's nuts, but he swears by it. I can't wait until he picks up his Paradigm S8's (http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_11_3/paradigm-signature-s8-speakers-7-2004.html)!!! Yep, can't go wrong with Canadian gear! :-D
