I tried to load WAV files, it said it could not load the AIFF file. I congerted my WAV files to IFF in Goldwave under Windows. Again Audio Evolution said it could not load the AIFF file.

What am I doing wrong?

No one?

EDIT: I see now that AIFF is not the same as IFF. Though I'm not sure why I can't load wav files as the docs say it will be auto converted. Anyhow I'm going to try to convert a wav to aiff and go from there. Any good software for MorphOS to do this?

Good, old and trusty SoX. You can also try Zormanita, which is easier to use, but early beta.

AE4 can only convert 16-bit PCM wav files to AIFF.

Why not use Reggae for sample import in MorphOS version? With a few lines of code you have support for 20 or so formats (WAVE 8 to 32 bits, WAVE floating point, AIFF with any bit width, AIFC 'sowt', WAVE with A-law/u-law quantization, IMA ADPCM, MS ADPCM, 8SVX, 16SV and even MP3..., many of conversions are AltiVec accelerated). Anyway Zormanita can convert them all to 16-bit PCM AIFF :-).
