Early Amiga 2000 computers had light colored labels that did not match the color of the case.  Later Amiga 2000 computers had labels that were the same color as the front of the case.  If your Amiga 2000 has a light colored label, then it also most likely has a rev 4.x motherboard and an early power supply with a bunch of holes in it.

Hmmm.... maybe the colors just look a little skewed in the photo.

Anyway, the front plastic bezel should match the darker key colors (grey), while the metal portion is beige like the rest of the keys.

It seems most bezels I've seen do go a bit brownish/yellow. It would be a piece of cake to have some dye color-matched to the right color, and shoot the bezel. (Just look on the inside of the bezel for the right color.) Only problem being, most places will want to charge a minimum of a quart, possibly a gallon for custom colors, which could run well over $100.

Flitz works very well at reducing mild yellowing, just *be careful* and don't get too aggressive - some Amiga plastics are more fragile than others. Obviously, you don't want to change/destroy the surface texture.

You guys are crazy. The bezel is supposed to be darker brown compared to the metal case.  I should know I remember seeing them in 1987.  The brown does yellow some as well, this one is nice and mint.

A nice A2000, but the front bezel has really "browned"!

I have one I consider fairly "clean".  The keyboard shows some slight yellowing, but the bezel is pretty light coloured, still:

Was the front bezel originally supposed to be the exact same colour as the beige paint on the metal casing?

Yeah!

The A2000 get darker, insted of yellow as the other amiga's.

I have 2 A2000, one who are light light brown.. as rkauer point out. The other is like this.. darker. But hey. more nice then a yellow front anyway.

Are you sure this is clean?

In mine the bezel colour is almost the same as the badge.
