M$ only make software for low-end users like us...
Now they manage to sell it so cheaply because it has millions upon millions of errors and bugs. Now we all know this, becuase the computer crashes... For comanies like banks, or airports or nuclear reactors, "proffesional software companies" come in. IBM is the second largest software retailer after M$. So although i agree yes that Amiga was and is a fantastic and stable machine, part of the stability was up to the software person...
Like for euphanesia machines (did i spell that right?) you're not going to trust your life in a M$ program, that will crash half-way while it's injecting the toxin, you're going to get the proffesionals in. (actualy that's a little different, cause other companies make programs for hardware specific things...)
