@thread

if you're looking for a version of the enhancer software pack that is for classic systems or for UAE, then your best bet is to purchase the heavily discounted 'special edition' at amigakit or on amistore. all the stuff you don't need -- like radeonHD drivers or the warp3D nova layer -- and the stuff you can't use due to low CPU ability -- like CANDI -- are removed. but you get everything else.

this way you get the stuff you want, but no drivers you can't use. you get updated versions of amidvd, amipdf, the new calendar commodity, the vastly improved clock, multiedit (a great replacement for notepad) and multiviewer (a great replacement for multiview), a new tunenet, and the X-dock replacement for amidock. you also get a pile of system enhancements like new datatypes, gadgets/classes, you get the clipviewer commodity -- which i use every time i'm putting together a hollywood presentation, timeguard, SFS2, and a much improved ringhio notifications system. oh, and you get all the latest updates, including improvements to AOS4's PTP support for grabbing photos from attached smartphones or cameras.

via amistore it's less than $25USD. and amigakit has a boxed version for a couple of bucks more. if you're running OS4 in an emulator or on your upgraded 1200 or 4000, this is the way to go IMO.

I had to hunt through that link to find clarification, but it does, in fact, say "minimum requirements: AmigaOS 4.1 Update 6".

At one point I recall a discussion about a version of Enhancer for 3.x. I guess that got dropped by the wayside?

Thanks, I will keep this in mind when I go to buy it.
I hope a OS3 version will be available soon too.
This is what I must have been thinking about when I made the post the other day about what can be done to improve OS3.

Correct.  Was looking forward to an updated version of Multiview and the new datatypes, etc., for my classic systems.  :(
