Amiga.org Facebook Group
« on: January 30, 2018, 10:46:47 PM »
We have extended the Amiga.org services to now include a Facebook group:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/amiga.org

The group is closed - any regular members here can request to be added and add others.

We are hoping that the Facebook group will complement these forums and help strengthen the friendships and relationships between all Amigans who visit Amiga.org.

Well, at least you had one. :)

In my particular case, I never joined Facebook till this day.
Perhaps I am just a caveman that thinks that some things in life should be kept private, and then only share them with "real friends" and family.

On the other hand, my wife loves Facebook and the gossip community around it. :)

LOL

My wife is the one in charge of tracking our teenage daughter steps in Facebook.
I only seldomly check on her smartphone to see her chatlogs and verify she is safe.

I've been a member of the Amiga Facebook group for some time. Not sure we need another one.

I agree having the facebook page is a good idea.  Not because I intend to use it much but Facebook is so integrated into business now that not having a facebook page today is like having a business in the year 2000 that didn't have a web address.  It adds a certain amount of modern legitimacy.
