Programming on stock A500
« on: May 14, 2016, 07:59:54 PM »
Hi all,

I was wondering if people could advise how to start programming on a stock Amiga 500 (Rev 5 with Kickstart 1.2 and Rev 6A with Kickstart 1.3). I've got an 512kB memory expansion and experience with C/Pascal under DOS, Delphi and C++ under Windows and program regularly on Linux in Python now a days or script somewhat in Bash.

Any ideas what my best approach would be?

Regards,

Michael.

With this amount of RAM and such old Kickstart you are probably sentenced to use assembler or AMOS. Maybe some ancient C compiler is usable on this configuration.
