powermac for morphos

Hi all...

I dont have much idea about macs, powermac3,4 and 3,6 are full supported (audio, ehternet...) but what kind of gfx card come with 3,4 and 3,6?

You mean the g3 towers? I beleive they were ATI Rage cards.

Yeah, the G3 Blue & White towers all came with ATI Rage 128 GL cards. Note, however, that that doesn't mean that any given B&W G3 has that card. There were a pretty fair variety of aftermarket video cards for PCI Macs, and I've seen a handful of different ones in towers I've picked up.

If you want to know about the stock specs of a given Mac, EveryMac is the place to look.

If it's the one I am thinking of it's a radeon 9000. Otheriwse it the Nvidia Geforce 4.

nah he is talking about the g4's. Again lots of after market graphics cards but the two that came from Apple were Nvidia geforce or Radeon 9000's.

Argh looking fruther it appears the radeon 9000 was the standard card and the geforce was the upgrade card. If you have the system it should say in the about this mac box on the OS.

On everymac all 1,25 powermac g4 comes with radeon 9000 64mb or nvidia gforce4 with 128mb.

I have a macmini g4 1,42 with 32mb gfx ram i just win some expandability and 64mb of gfx ram =(

Sounds like you have a very similar Mac Mini to the one I owned. Your stuck with the 32mb of graphics mem though.
