MorphOS 2.7 as my primary OS (with copies of OSX and Ubuntu on the same system). Can't wait to see version 3.0 (Powerbook, and improved SATA and SCSI support).

Windows XP and Vista (which is really underated) on two other home computers.

Hoping to encourage others using legacy hardware to consider PPC OS'.

I may, at some point, reconsider AROS.

I primarily use Mac OS X, and occasionally I have to use Windows 7 and sometimes linux.

On the phone front, iOS and Android - my personal phone is Android but I have to program for iOS as well.

I was able to give up using hp/ux about 3 years ago, and I haven't used an Amiga to accomplish a real task in about 14 years.  I remember approximately the time that I gave up using it - because I needed to sort a list of successfully polled stores for a fortune 500 company, and I wrote a little program in amiga ace basic - I used the sorting program for a while, and then eventually rewrote it in tcl/tk and ran it on a pc instead.

After that I've occasionally either, turned on an amiga 1200, or evaluated a pegasos board, or installed a copy of aros - but no, never again completed an actual task with an amiga.

The mac is cool.  I'm happy with it - I'm also happy lurking around the amiga forums year after year - the X1000 xorro thing isn't compelling to me, but they have the right idea - do *something* unique...do the same with the OS, do something we can hook to and say we needed an amiga to do that...whatever it might be, integrate sql into the os -nobody else has done that, not really....do something.

or don't, either way.... :)

All of the OS's listed with the exception of MacOS. However I tend to go through phases depending on my mood. ;-)

Wow, a surviving CP/M user.
I used to own a second hand MP/M system.

How in the world did Bill Gates ever get away with creating an OS that looked so much like CP/M?

Greetings,

I use a Dual boot for my old but clunky Dell for both AROS and WinXP, XP is for internet use, while everything else is AROS, unless there's a driver for a USB dongle Huawei device, I'll be stuck with XP for that. Also OS3.9 for my A1200.

Regards,

Aros for gaming???. What game takes full use of the gfx card and processor in aros?

Cube, AssaultCube, Cube2, TuxCart, Quake III Arena, Aquaria, MegaGlest just to mention the ones that take most advantages of AROS' Gallium3D subsystem.

I use different OS's everyday on lots of different computers. On a regular basis i use the following: Snow Leopard, Leopard, Ubuntu, Winuae, Windows 7 and xp so that's 6 different OS's. Next week sometime i will also be using MOS. But my main is Ubuntu which i use about 85% of the time. In my opinion Ubuntu is so easy to move around the place and everything else is just clumsy compared to it.
Even my cat doesn\'t like me.
