Check this "Rare" item out!!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Commodore-1350-Mouse-Good-C64-C128-Vintage-Original-Box-Excellent-Rare-/170844771432?pt=US_Vintage_Computers_Mainframes&hash=item27c7245468

Damn it! I've been looking for one that has been stored in a wet location.
Oh well, maybe next time.

Well....it's two offers, not bids. The person may have offered $5. But since the shipping is $25 it's still a little crazy :-0.

boh... there are unlikely millions of 1530 mice, I would assume very little really considering they were only useful for GEOS (my reason for getting one at the time). Still, i have my doubt they could/should fetch ****loads of money :D

From the auction:

There is also a tiny cut in the top left  of the box about 3/4'' long. still attached but I wanted to make sure  all of you could see it.  its on the added pic.
This seller must be kicking himself! I'd say that's shaved off at least $500.

You'd think you would get a tape or floppy drive for that price...

Actually i think the A3000T is quite a good deal. Those things are pretty rare. Were there really less than 100 made?

No, not rare, 3000T is about 6000 units
3000T040 is about 80, those are 'rare' but not that rare, cause I have 1 of them :)

Hi All,

Interesting thread. There are some crazy prices for some of these items - over $2000 for a C64...and someone paid for it! WOW.

Maybe not in the same league but this ebay auction I found is for a phase 5 233Mhz powerpc + 060 accelerator (128MB RAM) with AmigaOS4.0 Classic....

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Amiga-Cyberstorm-PPC-233-MHZ-Phase5-68060-128MB-FAstRam-SCSI-IDE-/190708796966?pt=Klassische_Computer&hash=item2c67214e26

Starting bid from 2000 Euros (AUD$2365)....

I know they are getting harder to get now but is this serious?

You can buy a brand new complete SAM460 or 2xSAM440 AmigaOne systems with AmigaOS4.1 running at a decent speed and a bunch of extra software for the starting money of just this ppc board...amazing.

Or maybe you are in the market for a Commodore 1571 disk drive, a bargain for USD$699....(AUD$670)

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-COMMODORE-1571-vintage-computer-disk-drive-C64-C128-/260973914340?pt=US_Vintage_Computers_Mainframes&hash=item3cc341e8e4

Final auction I found for today (from the same seller) is a Commodore 128D for the highly realistic asking price of USD$3200 (AUD$3064):

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-COMMODORE-128D-vintage-computer-and-keyboard-RARE-/260973919535?pt=US_Vintage_Computers_Mainframes&hash=item3cc341fd2f

Some of the other auctions from this seller have similar scary prices....

As an interesting comparison here is another Commodore 128D auction which includes a lot more and is a little bit cheaper currently at USD$103.50 at time of writing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Commodore-128D-lot-w-1764-REU-1571-1351-1670-Partner-128-cables-WOW-/140808683119?_trksid=p4340.m1982&_trkparms=aid%3D555001%26algo%3DPW.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D7%26meid%3D971681623446644834%26pid%3D100009%26prg%3D1004%26rk%3D1%26

Hmmm, I wonder which one I would go for....

Final one - not a computer I know, but a sapphire, yours for only USD$19 Million Dollars. And they even throw in free shipping. Bargain. :-)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/101Cts-Huge-Rare-Quality-Yellow-Golden-Natural-Sapphire-/120793670462?pt=Loose_Gemstones_1&hash=item1c1fdd233e

I say it again - WOW.

Catcha,
Epsilon
