Yippee.

I finally found myself a Mac Mini today,  1.5ghz w/ 1gb ram, OSX 10.5 .... $130 (not too bad I hope.). Soon to have MorphOS on it..... I can't wait.

Congratulations! :)

That's a very good price, especially if it's a silent upgrade (64MB VRAM) and not just a slightly overclocked 1.42GHz one (but that one is fine too).

Welcome aboard!

:)
MorphOS is Amiga done right! :)

BTW, I never touched a Mac before and am already impressed using the Mac OS, it seems nice compared to Vista.

You probably want to keep the system as dual boot (Mac OS X and MorphOS) then. Here are the instructions on how to do it:

or

My only worries are now my Amiga and C64 projects get put on the back burner a little longer.... too many projects but soooo much fun!

Indeed, why is this idiot hindered from ridiculing himself?

@Sandman
Congrats with your new toy.

Agree, This guy has had me in tears several times now.  Good value free entertainment.

64M vram version should come with those pre-installed.

Yes, I believe so.  But, unfortunately, I think the original owner removed both the wifi and bluetooth for another one of his Macs. :(  Didn't discover that  until I got home but I think I just got a lead for another Mini that has these.

What have I gotten myself into! :)

What now, wait just a minute, you won a Mini for 130$ but now you are bidding on anotherone?
Just so you know, neither wifi or bluetooth works under MorphOS, so why are you bidding on one more machine when you just boght one?

Who said anything about bidding?

I said that I have a lead on another Mac Mini, which I DO plan to use wifi and bluetooth with on the Mac side.  This has more goodies with it for even less and includes wifi/bluetooth so how can I say no.

You ask me? I have never used an Apple computer as an Amiga computer. I will never do it, Mac and Amiga are two completely different computers on the same line as the new Mac and WinPCes are different. Amiga computer is an alternative to all the other computers. And it's not OSet that makes a computer alone.
