TOASTER Feature requiring RGB monitor.

I recently revived my Amiga 2000HD which I used for video production until Dec. 2001. Thanx to Steve Greenwood for great advice! The 1084S monitor was dead. I mistakenly junked it in 2001 without attempting to have it repaired.
The Toaster manual states that some effects (such as "disappearing, and trails") require a connected RGB monitor.
There must be other monitors that will substitute for the 1084S and enable all the Toaster effects to function. Any suggestions will be appre

There's the 1084's close cousin that was popular in Europe, a Philips monitor. Don't remember the model number. Instead of chasing down another 1084, you might want to look at the new Indivision ECS scandoubler board that will let you use a standard VGA display. That should get you set on the Amiga side, you'll of course still need a video monitor on the Toaster output. Those seem to still be pretty common, though expensive.
