New Kickstart ROM Switcher (Automatic)
« on: January 28, 2010, 04:20:29 PM »
We have just manufactured a new batch of automatic Kickstart ROM switchers for the Amiga 500, 500+, 600, 1500, 2000 and CDTV:

The Kickstart ROMs are selected by holding down reset (Ctrl-Amiga-Amiga keys) for 5 seconds.  No case modification or cutting/soldering required.  No manual switches required.

Looks like a nice product.

Just wondered why (from the product photo) you've used a manually soldered on DIP40 pin header as opposed to other solutions such as an IDC to DIP40 plug?

The high unit price of the IDC DIP40 plugs are the reason we have adopted the alternative solution (see prices in your link).
