Knowing and Relic?

Ok, I just finished watching Knowing, which is quite a nice movie: IMDb.

During and especially at the end I got a Nerve Axis - Relic feeling to it.

After comparing, the resemblance is quite remarkable (both ending as storywise). Could it be that the writers of the script were influenced by the demo? ;)

Jeah, storywise there might even be more movies with the same theory (influences).

The camera angle points at the end are almost identical though ;)
