@A4000_Mad
If the directory he wants to burn in the CD contains too many files, i think it's better to choose "use image file" instead of "Direct to CD writer". Also, in all cases, the partition where the directory/image file is located must have enough disk buffers. Usually 1000 are enough. Fast file systems like PFS or SFS are strongly recommended.
This will improve writing speed and decrease the chance of a buffer underrun.

Nonsense! I always burn my CD's with the "Direct to CD Writer" option, use not more
then 32 buffers on all my FFS partitions, and I never had any issues with it.
Not even with my little 68000 CPU A600!

This isn't nonsense. It's a fact that the tips i posted WILL improve writing speed. But, even if you object, i really don't understand your aggressive attitude. Should i call you an ignorant and make myself look like you? What is it with some people?

Good for you.. What framiga said...

I was just saying that you don't need 1000 buffers (strongly exaggerated and memory eating)  or another filesystem than FFS to burn a CD. So, call yourself an ignorant.
I'm not the one who's having an agressive attitude, but your reaction is
to provoke a flame-war. It's by people like you that the level of this site
drops below zero. Your arrogant attitude makes me sick.

I have just reported him. I don't see what else i can do.
mind you that i'm a member since 2005 and he is only the second person i report.

I'm also a member since 2005, so this makes no sence! I reported you too, dude!
This is not the first time you're starting a flame war, I remember now.
You're displaying anti-social behaviour. I suggest to go see a shrink.
maybe he can figure out what's wrong with your head. I think he finds
1000 buffers in your head that causes you to behave like this.

I have been harassed too many times by him and i think i've had enough.

Who is harassing who here? I just didn't agree with him and gave my opinion on
the matter. But because he can't handle criticism, he accuses me of being aggresive,
offends me and starts a fight:

Everyone can read the thread and see that I was not reacting aggresive when I replied
to his post.
That's the last thing I have to say about it.
