Amiga Future: Amiga Software Database (ASD) Beta 2 Online
« on: January 13, 2009, 01:46:35 AM »
Regular visitors of the Amiga Future homepage did already our new project since end of 2007.

The Beta 2 of the Amiga Software Database (in short ASD) has been published on the Amiga Future homepage recently.

The ASD is a database in English and German which will include complete information to all released applications, CD-ROMs, literature and much more for the Amiga.

Of course the dataset is far from complete. Meanwhile there is already information to more than 2000 titles in the database. Moreover there have been already over 3000 images integrated with more to follow.

To really complete the database we need your help!!!

- is the provided information correct/precise?
- are there any products not mentioned?
- do you have any additions?
- or do you simply have some ideas for improvement?

Then please drop us an email using the subject "ASD". There's also an direct link for your suggestions located in the specific entries of the database.

Note: Please ask us before sending any scans! Posted items are already in our archives as an original and scans are in the works.

Our future plans include an extension of the database with information and features like direct download links to the specififc full versions.

The issue 76 has been released recently and is available in our online shop. Just now we work hard on issue 77.

Happy reading!
