Nice idea. Hopefully it'll generate some decent responses - there are some talented amiga-artists out there (although I'm not one of them :-D).

Certainly - it's not just a gallery, but a means for creative people to upload their programs, artwork, music etc so that anyone who buys OS4 can enjoy them on the CD.  If involving the community more is "progress", then this definitely is ;-)

Why don't you just stop talking for a while, if all you have to say is crap like that?

@Wayne

I appreciate the humor but I think your little jab at me (and Amiga) is a little blatant, don't you?

So, let me correct you:

Ray wrote and installed a complete upload/download management system.  It is not just for "images" as a typical everyone-has-one Gallery that guys like you download from another site and install.  It is a custom engine that allows us to moderate based on criteria that your average "one size fits all" Gallery/upload-download script doesn't feature, on a submission to submission basis or by category.

As for progress, Amiga users must like it as I see a good handful of submissions already.  You'll see them in a few too, as they need to be moderated up.

I have about 20 disks or so of Impulse's Turbo Silver images that I got from them back in 1990. Should I start uploading them?
Some may be animations...

>Oh come on guys !....... I left all that "My pencil case is better than your pencil case" attitude at primary school.

But my pencil box _IS_ better than your pencil box. :)

It has an alarm system so people can't steal my pencils when i'm not around.

The alarm even has a proximity feature to warn off approaching theives with a deep meanicing voice that says, "Please step away from the pencil box!"

It comes with it's own motorised sharpener in the side. VERY handy.

It's a beautiful candy apple red. But of course color is choosen by the owner. I just like red.

It has a capacity for over 250 pencils.

It's air tight so moisture and humid days wont cause the wood in the pencils to rot before thier time.

There are no less than 3 slots for your erasers and 1 extra secret compartment for your favorite eraser too!

It has no problems holding pens, crayons or even magic markers. Versitility was put in by design!

It has a very sturdy lock on the front and three keys just in case you misplace one.

There is a remote locator that you can hook on your keychain. If you ever misplace your pencil box you just click the remote locator and your pencil box will beep teling you where it is.

And there is just so much more that i can't even think of right now... It's a really cool pencil box.

Anyway, i like the submissions for the CD idea Ray (and others at Ainc), nice idea.
