You do wonder where the money is coming from to finance all this.

I would be wary of deals that sound too good to be true.

Rose, please mind your own business.  You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.  As before, you suggest bad things, but never have the ability or the facts to back up your suggestions.  Further, last time we checked Amont Informatique was not distributing the Pegasos.  We have avoided threads about your hardware, please avoid ours.

Thanks,
Raquel and Bill

P.S. Yes amigamad, 20 (more)...that puts over 600 Pegasos machines out there.  With the Marvell northbridge there will be MANY more.  Further, the first 5000 STBs will be delivered this year.  These users will help us get MorphOS ready for "prime time."  :-)

@anarchic_teapot

To the best of my knowledge, Bill Buck and Raquel Velasco own several companies in France and abroad.  Said companies made several million dollars last year according to financial reports.

What's so difficult to understand here about their starting a new venture?  Oh, wait.  Your comments are intended to create fear, uncertainty, and doubt.  Erm.. FUD for short.  Got it.

Nothing wrong with 20 more boards in addition to the hundreds that have already shipped, nothing wrong with making more and more included software available for all those who have gotten boards previously (more to come!), nothing wrong with throwing in more T-shirts and stickers. It's good to see people getting happy about developing, starting user groups, coding demos...

And nothing wrong with properly funded ventures.

About time, people have waited and waited and now they are getting their goods and the included stuff was a good move to compensate for the large delays (lets see if Eyetech does the same move).

Great news, anyway...

If we (the Amiga community) start to be happy of the good things that hit any of the two amiga heritage ways, we can help the whole platform to grow...

Exactly. All I see is bitching, bitching, bitching and,
HEY, even more bitching, when something is released.

Hey Paul,

I don't know that the brunt of the extras included (and some more yet to come) was all just to make up for delays. Though the T-shirts were. Everybody involved just wants to make it a great package.

Fortunately the days of Mai's moving delivery sched delays are probably behind us and we can face new delay challenges ;  }
