« on: February 25, 2003, 07:39:41 PM »
On the shelves at the moment is a special edition of the excellent Edge magazine devoted to retro games.  Plenty of Amiga mentions here, indeed several of the featured games originated on our mighty platform;
Lemmings
Speedball 2
Sensi Soccer
Populous
and more.

A1200 Power Tower, Blizzard 1260 66 +32MB, OS3.9, 2.5\\" HD, IDEfix97 + DVD-RW + Zip, SD/FF + 15\\" CRT, Ioblix1200P + scanner, PCMCIA LAN + router

I think it may be sold out on a lot of places. I bought it two weeks ago I think and here in Sweden we get the international mags pretty late. So my guess would be that this issue was released sometime in January.

But do look around, cause it's great.  :-)

If you're a regular Edge reader you've probably read most of  these "making of" already though.

Sounded good, but you're a bit late with this story - there is already a new Edge issue out.

(A 'Girls' issue, which also sounds interesting!  ;-)  )

I bought it either just after christmas or in the 1st half of Jan (can't remember which) it's pretty good.

I love the old retro stuff, I've still got my Mega Drive and Mega CD, and my gamegear. not to mention spectrum, commodore 64, amstrad cpc (all in the loft) great stuff.
If I lived in a warehouse, these would all be set up 24/7! :-D

I'll have to look out for the girls edition of Edge!!  :-D

Cheers

Graham C

Seemed to have my dates muddled

Edge isnt out in the USA/Canada but instead there's a sister magazine which shares a lot of the content called "Next Generation"
