WHDload and JST

how do you adjust some of the games to fit on the screen right?
A2000, GVP 030 w/4megs, 8UP! w/4megs, VT2000

OS 3.9, VT4.1 .... STILL BUILDING!!!

explain us what u mean , i have been a whd user since forever and i dont understand what you mean.


maybe you use a ntsc  machine , if you do..
use tooltype NTSC in the game icons.

I do have a NTSC machine and i tried using the NTSC tooltype it fixed some games but others the game screen is offset like its too far down and there is a inch gap at the top and the bottom inch you cant see

very frustrating :-(

I've got the same problem. My old monitor could reposition the display to allow the whole screen to fit, but my new flatscreen won't scroll that far up.
I sold my Amiga for a small fortune, but a part of my soul went with it.

Thats what happens if you run a PAL game on a NTSC machine. Try running adding the PAL screen modes to your devs/monitors and pick the one closest to your NTSC one. It should display normal after that.

AHHH yes! that did help alot

now if i could just figure out howcome jst sometimes will not load and i have to keep clicking on the icon to get it to work..  wow... WHDload is better than JST

Apparently the developer couldn't trace the bug that causes JST to freeze sometimes on startup either and that's one of the reasons he abandoned JST and now writes installs for WHDLoad.

A lot of the old JST installers have been updated for WHDLoad.

oh well... the freezing part sucks but the fact that u cant close the window irritates me!

The last versions of JST were freeware, so you should be able to add QUIET as an icon tooltype or as a shell argument.  This should cause JST to not open a window.
