Wow lucky to be alive. Glad she's ok.
I've had friends that drive like complete pillocks and even after accidents some of them never bloody well learn so I hope your daughter does and that all her injuries heal well.

800th post..... :pint:

Corrina is back on the road after buying a like new condition Daewoo Matiz this morning. Year is 2002, two lady owners and 30,000 miles. A gift at £1,600 if you ask me :-)

@ AJCopland

Thanks. I sure hope she has learned to drive more slowly and carefully and to wear a seatbelt :nervous:

Here is the daughter I so nearly lost about to set off in her new car this evening :-)

Chist. She is lucky! I still can't believe it when people don't wear their seatbelt. Just makes no sense!

"'ve had friends that drive like complete pillocks and even after accidents some of them never bloody well learn "

I was one when I was younger, I'm probably lucky to be alive, though I haven't gone to the same extremes as some friends of mine.
One day I saw the result of an accident, 3 dead, bodies all teared apart, no joke it was pretty touching. I think it kind of affected my driving after and I also think people  taking drivers license should take a day at hospital etc. seeing the results that even sometimes slow driving can cause!

By the way, that Daewoo and some other today's cars should be forbidden, they're like a piece of plastic.

She has a steady boyfriend at the moment and I'm sure your question was intended as a compliment :-)

@ Jose

Yeah they probably aren't the strongest built car in the world, but the Daewoo Matiz is cheap on insurance for new drivers and at 796cc are economical (a good thing too considering the price of fuel! :-o)

Corrina has been back on the road for 5 weeks without further incident. She drives more slowly now and always wears her seatbelt :-)

Hi Guys & Gals,

How time flies! Corrina is now the proud mother of unidentical twin girls aged 4.

Their names are Mylie and Natasha.

Happy New Year :drink:

Yes, a scary experience, but luckily one she can learn from.
