Cool :) But I don't think English have that expression. It must be a aegean/mediterrenean thing.

Nah, here in Holland we know the expression as well. If the Britains don't know it - well, they're pretty much isolated anyway

Ordered from them a couple of times.  Always helpful and quick with replies to questions.  Both things ordered turned up the next day.  Well I do live close to Cardiff  :-D

Packaging is spot on.   Do not hesitate to order from AmigaKit, one of the best small business I have ever dealt with and i'm including non-amiga businesss here.  A lot of companies could learn a lot lot from them in how to offer a brilliant service.

I've bought quite a lot of stuff from Amigakit. No problems at all. They are very helpful and go out of their way to solve any problems you may have getting your new gear set up.

I've bought a shed load of gear from them over the years.
Packing is probably the best I've seen from any company.
They are very helpful with any queries as well.
Would recommend them to everyone.

I bought a few parts from them. Fast service, good quality and good P&P prices.
And Phantom is right, as i have read in the past that they have bought Eyetech's stock. Recommended! :-)

In England we say "Blind faith" rather then "closed eyes", it means much the same thing.

Wow, I didn't expect this much feedback! Thanks guys!

Friday I place an order and will finally end my 8 year long "got no Amiga to speak of" hell.

That's because all you foreigners learn to speak english from watchimg "star trek"   I remember an episode where an alien race used the expression "with eyes closed".
In Britain we are learned to talk proper like. :-P

Hi! I'm thinking of ordering an A1200 from amigakit.com. Does anyone have any prior shopping experience with them? Where are they located? Is it true what they claim that they have brand new unused A1200s? (I've written them to ask as well.)

Thanks!

I live in the US and ordered a buffered controller from them. It came in about a weeks time. I just ordered a longer 2.5" cable for it from them as well.

They seemed really good. The only thing I thought was funny was their tracking system calls something delivered when it's just been shipped. Maybe it's a difference in thinking from the UK to here. We only say delivered when it's actually arrived to the customer and shipped when it's gone out the door.

Other than that minor semantic difference I was really pleased.
