Seems like you need to hire a container if you don't live in the UK and can not pick it up yourself ...
Sorry for asking but there seems to be a little gap in my knowledge, what is an Archimedes ?? What processor ? What possibilities ??

The Acorn Archimedies used  the old ARM RISC processors, surely you had some of these in your school if you were in the UK. RiscOS was dam nasty.
Restraining orders are just another way of saying I love you!

It looks like this model, with an ARM 2 processor at 4/8 Mhz.

The Acorns were really popular over here in schools, but never really made it as a home computer.  They ran RiscOS, which was built into the ROM and had a few interesting features (ie a taskbar before Win95, which IMO worked better).    The graphics were average, but couldn't match Amiga (no copper, blitter etc).  AFAIK the last OS was released a few years back, and Acorn is owned by someone else.  I think they were still selling h/w then as well, but is was very custom (and extremely expensive).

But it's nastiness paled in comparison to what windoze was at the time :-o  Perhaps I'm biased as they were probably the second computers I ever used (1st was Amiga of course :-D ) but they always seemed OK.

There's a mistake in the item list, there's no Spectrum 48ks there, they're 128k+2a(5 of them) and 128k+2b (2 of them).

I wouldn't mind getting that stuff myself, but I've no money and live way too far away :-(

@red

It's good to see that you can't hog all the good finds :-P

Went for 360 quid in the end. I reckon that whoever bought it has a grand's worth of stuff there, if he were to sell it separately on ebay....
I like Amigas

£360 is still a bargain.  I wish I could've afforded that :-(

Still, I've got some of the important computers anyway (Speccy 128k+2, Miggy 500, 1200).  All I need to get is a C64/128 :-D
