I remember seeing a news interview of him saying nothing but 'I feel good!' and completely ignoring the interviewers questions.

He seemed a bit off his face.

I thought he was more Jazz than Soul?

Anyway, he inspired Leroy Thornhill (of Prodigy) and Michael Jackson so he had a profound influence on modern music.

Wasn't that song 'Papa's Got a Brand New Bag' one of his?
