I am playing a little with the guitar and I look for something that does not generate any complication to me.
OctaMED can be used as a simple drum machine.
It looks a bit complicated at first but it's pretty easy to set up a basic pattern.
If you have OS4, there's a dedicated drum machine prog for it on OS4 depot but I haven't used it much so can't say how good it is.
