In 1997 I bought a P2-400Mhz cpu with an ASUS MB that had LVD SCSI for $1000. So I'm not beyond forking out crazy money on computer hardware. That was as fast as you could get though. Everyone at work was amazed because I was pulling 70FPS on quake 2 with dual voodoo 2's :-D
