Title: Amiga Racer Arcade Machine hardware?
Post by: amyren on October 23, 2016, 12:03:31 PM
AmigaTec (amitec.com) have listed the Amiga Racer Arcade Machine in their online shop, and I must say it looks very cool and professionally made.
I suspect that there is a RaspberryPi in there somewhere, since the game itself is made to work on the RPi as well.

But the detailed specs for it is not shown on the website. Which is a bit stange, considering its listed at 899EUR and you would expect users to know what they are buying before committing to that amount of money.

If its a RPi, what version is included?
What software is it set up with and are there other arcade games available already set up?
What ports are available (eg. USB/LAN/SD card slot) are available without opening the casing?
The display specs?
Physical size?
Other info/options?

I don't get it. It's not an Amiga and it's not an Arcade machine. The justification appears to be that Lotus Turbo Challenge was an Amiga driving game and this is a driving game. It looks more like Outrun than Lotus Turbo Challenge and besides Lotus Turbo Challenge 1 & 2 came out on multiple platforms.

They haven't even finished editing the placeholder text in their shop. But they have dancing girls, I'm not sure who is more exploited in this.
