Title: Constantly Bumped Off Site

Why am I bumped out of the website constantly?  If I take a minute to do  anything, I have to log in again.  I'll probably have to log in again  to submit this.  Is it a setting?

Go to the amiga.org home page and sign in there at the top. There's a tick box to the left and underneath where you sign in, I always tick it. Seems to work for me! This keeps me signed in unless I clear cookies I do believe.

For what it's worth, I have the same issue in multiple browsers (Safari on my iMac, Chrome on my work PC), and ticking the "stay logged in" button does nothing. Definitely seems like the logout timing is set way too aggressively somewhere in the forum server settings...

Same here, across multiple browsers/computers.  I can log in on the home page, then, when it finishes the "return to the previous page after login", it still doesn't show me as logged in.  I have to click on the link that says "click here if your browser times out and doesn't return you to previous page" or something similar, before the timeout completes, and then I will stay logged in.

The problem exists since several years.

For some weird reason amiga.org and http://www.amiga.org is not the same. So if you login to amiga.org then http://www.amiga.org thinks you're still not logged in, or vice versa.

Very annoying.

The webmaster (is that still the name 2016?) should make sure the whole site depends on amiga.org OR http://www.amiga.org .
