I have acquired an old G4 Mac Mini that runs at 1.5Ghz with 512Mb ram and an 80Gb HD, Can anyone please let me know if the PPC Mac Mini is capable of running Amiga OS 4. I did see only one video on youtube about it, but he just showed it running, something called the mona loader which loaded up AOS 4 and gave no real install instructions. can anyone help me with this?

Easy answer : No.
Long answer : they probably could if they wanted to, but that wouldn't sell many over priced PPC boards to tie the OS to :-)
Longer answer : the Youtube video you saw is of an early hacked up (probably illegalz) release where it barely booted into 2D and no drivers for anything useful (who needs hard disks, network, keyboards, sound .... ?)

You can run MorphOS on it though, another "next gen" Amiga-like OS that runs most of the same software.

Also, it only worked for 4.0. With 4.1 it became impossible for some reason and the project was abandoned. MorphOS works fine though.

Why not? (I know the answer).

@WarPiper
there was a project by acube systems many years back to port AOS 4.0 to earlier mac mini systems, but it was never approved by amiga, inc., and acube went on to focus on building newer SAM systems instead. if you're interested in something amiga-like, there's always MOS as pointed out in earlier posts.
