Do you mean why not join? :-)

Anyway
I can see this is pc only stuff.

"System Requirements:

PC running Intel Pentium/Celeron family or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family processor with 300 MHz or greater clock speed
128MB or greater RAM
Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Home or Professional)"

How do you want me to use this stuff on my miggy? :-(

Is this an post really about amiga news?

Yup! FAQ also stated:

What systems do you support?
We currently support PCs that are running Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Some might even work on some Windows 98 and ME machines but are still working through issues on these platforms.

????? Hmmm, So where's AmigaOS support??

Sorry but the software not being on an offical Amiga platform dosn't mean it isn't of intrest to an lot of Amiga users.

Is it me or is there something called UAE on Windows.  Now that application can not be run on Amiga platform.  Then they other things like SETI@home, well this list goes on and on.

It's an way of showing there is intrest in the Amiga platform.

None taken, I tried to install it here at the office. Cant seem to log in. A prompt goes "Unable to connect to Mercora Server..."? Any Ideas? My suspect is the firewall. Not sure.

Good day to all Amigans! :-D

Very much likey the route of the problem.  If you admin the firewall I will help you out as I use at work an Checkpoint vpn-1 firewall.

But I would try reset and try again, it amazing how many things get fix in windows this way.

But you must allow Mercora download the updates from Microsoft.
