Description: This is my Amiga 600 and its accelerator.

I couldn't find a longer 2.5" IDE cable so I had to flip it over (the HD is upside down!).

The fan is from a 486 CPU cooler, and it's drawing power from the PSU socket directly (12V). I still have my floppy drive and its power cable connected (very useful for games).

The CPU cooler is on the 68030@40MHz with some thermo-conductive glue. It's not too tall and the case still closes nicely.

I've added a couple of capacitors (on the left side of the 68000 socket), a 100uF/25V el-cap and a 100nF ceramic cap, to stabilize the board's voltage (thanks to Christian Frankl and Christian Krenner).

And last but not least, the 3.1 ROMs, a MUST for every Amiga user.

P.S. The network is provided by an A4000 gateway through a magPLIP cable (cheap and fast).

Answer:
Look for the "Compaq 1200 XL" notebook cable. Is longer than the original.

And easily finded in Ebay auctions (and VERY cheap). :eureka:
