Title: Planet Hotwheels
Post by: MarkTime on April 14, 2003, 07:07:46 PM
ok, this may not be news to some of you, but I had no idea how far along flash games had become.

My son's 4 year old birthday, had to register with www.planethotwheels.com to see if he had won a prize.   He hadn't but before you can even find out you have to register with the site and go through a tutorial, literally forcing you to be come familiar with the game....

all the stuff about building cars, etc, I found boring, but run over the multi-player flash games....OMG, thats some pretty impressive 3d work.  Not as much eyecandy, as say, my copy of Nascar 2003 racing season, but simply astonishing for a website...the games were really fun, eventually I had to bump the little tyke off the machine so I could play.

Now....all this talk about the amiga games pak...tell ya what, if those games were even as good as planethotwheels, I would give them a 2nd look.

But, of course, they aren't that good....go take a look at planet hotwheels, its amazing....I can't believe it, does someone know of a better flash site?  I've never seen a better site, myself.

Maybe I just don't surf enough :-)

I could't try the games because the website urged me to ditch my Phoenix browser in favour of Netscape 4.8.  :-D
