Fast A4000 PSU modification | ||

Description: Fast and dirty PSU modification. To increase an air stream I has decided to rearrange the fan closely to a back wall. For this purpose it was necessary to shift PSU card a little forwards. I have made some holes in the bottom and made a carving. Has then installed spacer from PC case, in addition having strengthened glue. Cut off and filed from other side. Then I have flattened a back lattice and cut in it a hole for the fan (unfortunately not ideally, it is possible to see rough edge at the bottom). Has screwed the fan and has installed a decorative lattice. Only this easy modification has lowered at once noise level and has lowered temperature CPU on 5-7 degrees. The next step - instal lattice in side wall PSU, for hot air stream passed through an accelerator was output at once outside.
