If you select a post and press the 'Quote' button (for example), and then write something at the bottom as if to reply, but then you change your mind and decide not to post it and instead select the amiga.org logo top left to get to the home page... you will notice that if you go back to that same thread, and select 'Quote' in any post in that thread, that your previous 'Quote' appears in the text window and not the quote that you had just selected. Not only is the wrong 'Quote' selected, but also your previous text that you decided against posting magically appears too.
I saw it in action; the correct text appears initially, but in an instant it is replaced by the previous 'discarded' one that can now no longer be discarded, it seems I'm stuck with it forever (even after logging out and back in again IIRC). To fix the problem I have to clear my browser history.
It doesn't have to be the 'Quote' button either, just go into any thread and press 'Quick Reply' and type 'blah' in the text window and then do as I say...go back to the home page again and go back into the thread and then either press 'Quick Reply' again or press 'Quote' and your previous discarded 'blah' will appear in the window on its own (without any quote if you selected one!)
I noticed this yonks ago (a year maybe) but thought it was a glitch or something, but it's still around, hence this post.
BTW, why isn't there a 'Discard Post' or 'Cancel' button of sorts? If there is, I can't see it.
