Yeah. Amiga Quake players can beat up their PC, MAC or Acorn buddies AFAIK!

yep i used to play quakeworld for one of the top uk teams in the european leagues and there was a uk amiga player who used to go on the practise servers and i know a couple of mac players as well. Always felt sorry for them though with their 20fps and 200ms ping as i pranced along on 77fps solid regardless of the action and 25ms ping due to adsl :)

i finally have a working 1200 again, well its in bits on my lounge floor but it works enough to play xtreme racing! may have to try amiga quake for a laugh at some point once i get a cd drive plugged back into it.

Quake PPC now works with the CD ROM drive. So i can listen to the CD audio! :-) I don't know all this works but at least it does! Thanks guys for the help.

Hi!

BTW: With Martin McKenzies QuakeGui it is also
possible to set the ENV Stuff using a GUI. Should be on Aminet I think...
