Nokia Mediaterminal (was supposed to come with AmigaDE preinstalled. This isn't really amiga only however, and Nokia pulled the plug for unknown(?), unrelated reasons)

Amiga Ed - http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/amigaed.html

Amiga MCC - http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/amigamcc.html

- Elbox MPEG-2 hardware decoder based on EM8400 processor

- Elbox ISDN PCI card

Okay, these cards probably exist, but there are no drivers. Both are still mentioned in the Elbox marketing material, as being supported by Mediator PCI Busboards.

Hmm regarding ACK AmigaONE CPU Modules, there were supposed to be two of them.

My mistake.

Matrox Parhelia (G1000) for OS4

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2002/05/10/amiganauts_rave_over_matrox_g1000/

Ok, not really related, the card was released (it was?) and wasn't vapor. No OS4 drivers however...

Excellent predictions from mr Hermans, though.

HiQ Alpha System
http://www.cucug.org/amiga/aminews/1998/980108-hiq.html

Some more background:
http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/hiqalpha.html
http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/sialpha.html

The final steps would have seen AmigaOS being ported to Alpha CPUs.

Details here:

This stuff fell thru as QuikPak lost the bidding race to Gateway. More about that part of the story:

But would be very interesting to see some dates. Maybe year of the first announcement and year when developer last reported about the hw or the project was officially closed?

Something like that is available at amigahistory.co.uk (partial timeline)
