I'm not forcing anything, as a matter of fact it's pretty much the same for me if he wants to fill his apartment with buttugly hardware, I merely told about an option he may not been in knowledge of.

There are pros and cons as always.. in this case it may not be exactly what he wanted but instead he gets a good mediacenter. I feel its more you forcing options here.. you want to offer only one solution while I added an extra option. Sorry if I wen't offtopic with emulation stuff.. would have stfu if I'd known it causes this much stir.

No Stir     A1200

Nah,your as entitled to your opinion as I am, so maybe I should stfu :)

As for a butt ugly Amiga, your right that's going to be the problem, most second hand ones are a lovely '20 smokes a day' colour (well, maybe not the Amigakit ones).

AmigaKit will be happy to supply a nice clean one for a few $100 more.  As for LCD display I suggest Svideo(If your LCD has it) Smoother than RGB (IE: not as harsh/jaggy)
Here you go: http://www.amigamaniac.com/RGB_to_PAL_NTSC_adapter.html out of stock but they'll be back....

Well - tomorrow Im going to Kolding (Denmark) 30 km from here. A guy
says he has a near mint A1200 with 3.1 and 6mb of RAM and a 2GB harddrive.

Someone said -> Who want an ugly amiga in his livingroom ? ...

Hmmm.... I DO !!!!!!!!!

Modern style with a little retro looks very nice ;)

Superb TheMud. Agree 100%.
You will see I  and some stayed on topic for the thread.  A challenge for me.
Good luck with the new machine.  Let us know how you go plugging it into your LCD..:)

PS: Hello McFly !!! "No More Emulator for Me - Want an Amiga" then half the thread is on frikkin emulation.  Start a new thread if ya wanna talk about the PS3.

...Half of the thread is about correcting wrong information by several people to several people. Don't stack all the shit on top of me.
.....

No shit stacking...And certainly not directed at individuals but to the off topic subject..
I'm Just looking to help TheMud.  It's difficult to find helpful responses when a thread is interupted with off topic information, no matter how valuable, it detracts from the experience.  Just ask Franko and Kesa.

I think everything that was said had merit and value.  Just not for this thread.  :)

Well "TheMud", did you get it.. how's it going..?

PS: Thanks for the Medal, But I want a real one from Karlos for being sooo! good.  It's hard to stay on topic...I know  :)
