I already tried asking this question in Comp.sys.amiga.misc   but no one reacted to it.

I didn't know AmigaOne and OS4 would support nVidia chips?.

Is this just a clueless sales man,  or is there something i haven't heard   :-)

AFAIK Software-hut is selling Amithlon-boxes with SCSI- and sound-
cards that are not supported, so I wouldn't be suprised.

Now add the fact that nVidia is very close about their HW and that
Hyperion don't have endless resources at hand ....
1. Make an announcment.
2. Wait a while.
3. Check if it can actually be done.
4. Wait for someone else to do it.
5. Start working on it while giving out hillarious progress-reports.
6. Deny that you have ever announced it
7. Blame someone else

Well supposedly Elbox are nearly complete with their own Geforce2 2D drivers, so it may be possible. I won't hold my breath though.

Especially since Elbox is known not to Share their code with anyone :-)

We had a discussion of that about a month ago in one of the forums.  I assumed it was due to lack of info, since there has been no mention of Geforce support from Hyperion.  Unless, of course, that company plans to write their own drivers. :)
