you can try disabling caches and emulating original chipset from the boot menu (hold down both mouse keys on boot)

failing that you may want to get hold of a relokick disk (which loads a kickstart 1.3 image on your 1200)

or if you want some adventure, use whdload. (you may need to upgrade your miggy if it's a standard system)

yes ive tried  disabling caches and emulating original chipset from the boot menu (hold down both mouse keys on boot) and using a 1.3 kickstart but the game crashes as soon as i start playing it.
What do i need to upgrade in order to use WHDLoad???

thanks

you need a harddrive (or CF card used as a harddrive) and possibly some ram. You may do without the ram for STOB though since it's a two floppy game.

Get the latest version of the installer:

http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/Installer-43_3

Install that then the latest version of WHDLoad from whdload.de.

Worked on my 1200T after disabling CPU Cache and OCS mode, mind you I switched off my 030. Different mobo revisions may affect compatibility.

if you dont want to use whdload, I would recommend relokick aswell. there's not a lot that wont run with some tweaking of the early startup menu and a copy of relokick.
