Well I would think that one would say that I like 68040 because that is the processor that is in my Amiga 4000, or maybe the 68060 because that would be a much better processor to use then a very slow 68040.

But I'm going to go back to the lonesome 68000, because that is the one that is so rooted in many of the projects that I've dealt with.  Closest to the 65c816, so I remember all the SNES /Super Famicom demos that were coded for that.  I remember that the MegaDrive/Genesis had a nice little 68k.  The Saturn's CD processor was a 68000, and it made it a nice loader for many of the advanced 2D arcade style games at that time. Also the TI-92 Platinum calculator has a 68000 too.

I would have to say the 68000, because it was part of so much action.

68010, or 68020 in a smaller sized 2.04 machine. The 600 with a 68010. But that it *rocks*.

the 060 is my favorite, but I wish I hadn't sold my 1230/28 ... 030 is also great for gaming!

The 68000, though the 68020 comes a VERY close second.

Seriously. This idiot should really get banned once and for all, as I am sick and tired of reading his nonsense throughout every single Amiga portal, including Usenet...actually especially on Usenet.

Ive, get help and soon.

Well, I agree that this guy appears to be half a dozen cans short of a six pack. Still, I don't think being incomprehensible most of the time is actually against the TOS. "What is your favourite 680x0?" is a fair enough question IMHO.

060 roxXx! altough i like my 68040 blizzard ppc card wich was the first ppc accelerator card i had and had many hours of fun with.
but my vote is the 060 specially when i had a 60 Mhz 060  cyberstorm ppc card here wich was wicked fast!

edit:
when you overclock the csppc 68060 from 50 to 60 MHz the scsi bus runs a bit faster too but does not start to hang  :-D  :-D
Amiga is addictive coz it is fun to use

I love my 040!

Having said that it's the fastest 68k processor I have owned.

I also enjoyed the 030/40 I had in my old A1200, great for games!  :-D

68000 of course.  I chose it because it was in my favourite machines of past(Amiga, megadrive, sharp x68000,some other consoles...), and in many arcade cabinets that i enjoyed so much!!!!.
