Have you noticed that Ben Hermans & C. are
extremely silent recently ?
I wonder what is going on...
OS4 is coming out ?
Joke ! :roflmao: Joke !

Heres hoping!

Yeah they have definately been more silent than usual. IMO usually a bad sign, hope I'm wrong.
-
bad sign?
id say they are busy ;)

Always scares me when they go silent. I won't get nervous this time. If it turns out they were silent when they should have been announcing something, the mob of Party Pack and Club couponholders will be justice enough :-P
Ah, what the hell, I'd be silent too, it's georgous outside!!!!
-
Lets hope they are working hard on OS4! :-)

Ahh, that explains it. And here I thought it was this beautifull weather :-P

Did you happen to notice the date of that announcement? That was a year ago. They have popped up from time to time since then.
-
Hmm, I find them to have been rather active lately.
Maybe not here on the org, but certainly over at AW and Amiga.com forums.
---edit---
Well, maybe not Ben Hermans, but both the Friedens, anyway.

Thank god you saved all by adding a smiley. We all know OS4 is not ready, and even if it would be, theres still time for beta-testing, cd-production, manuals, bug fixing etc.
/me prays for first reviews so I can make up my mind about getting A1 or not
-
Blomberg, thanks for the info...

@Zorro
I had dialogue with Ben yesterday and all I'm prepared to say is : "Don't Panic" :-D
Things are moving along and I don't see any reason for anyone to worry because of any silence from their part.
Anyhow, 'Rogue' (Hans-Joerg) only posted here a day or so ago, stop worrying!!!

That's rather old news ;-)
About being silent:
We are rather busy at the moment. Besides, it doesn't matter what we say. People want to see results, and that is what we are working on right now. The results will be visible really soon now.
-
All this fuss about being silent?! Come on people - let them DO their job and good luck to 'em!

Well, i think that Hyperion are less silent than before. I see Hans-Joerg and Thomas popping up on AOrg and Amigworld quite often. I find this quite a good sign as i've got the impression that work is progressing nicely from all the posts that they make.
I hope indeed that we will see some results soon. I'm prepared to wait a couple of months or half a year even because i think OS4 will be good. But it is nice to know and more importantly to see that work is progressing. I am really looking forward to some sort of demo...
Keep up the good work!

Thread number 5 from the great book of Amiga related threads.
How many times has this type of thing been said!? :-D
-
It's sad that it had to go that far, but i understand them. It may be the best until they are finished with the product. The situation may be the same for Eyetech, too. I didn't make the situation better a time earlier, being very fustrated and had disbelief in them, but not anymore. I know the products have to be as perfect as possible, especially considering this being the first production run. After that, things will happen much faster and in much simpler way..
Please, have faith in the companies. We really need them...

Just let the OS programming teams do their jobs...
(Yes, the PROGRAMMING teams, Amiga Inc is not
included).

I'm glad to hear this. For a moment I thought I had missed something.
Anyway, keep up the good work guys ...
