I've not, however, Deep Purple never really did much for me anyway. As I did say though, I will listen to pretty much anything, Beethoven included.

Favorite thing (after family and friends of course) is riding my bike.

Second is listening to good music... right now I can't seem to get enough of Swedish jazz trio E.S.T.

I'm also a nut for vintage Benzes, currently own an '85 W126er (gas guzzler edition), and a '70 W114.

Lotta people into cars...  Me too.  I've got a 2001 Mustang SVT Cobra I've done some light mods to and occasionally tool around on the track.  (Mostly I just have some fun on the streets with it, though.  It's a blast to drive!)

Occasional SIM racer, too... Though I haven't been on a league in a couple years.  My current avatar was my last league car.  We ran on Papyrus NASCAR AeroWar 88 mod.  Did the "paint" myself.  Guess you could put down Photoshop as a hobby, too.

Of course, retro computers and games.  Right now, my computer collections seem to focus on Commodore and SGI gear.

The rest of my time has been working around the house, and all the stuff that goes with it.

Got quite a few hobbies really..

Retro Gaming (Consoles mainly, but ZX Spectrum and Dragon 32/64 in there too :))

I'm currently working my way into Mechanics (fixing up own vehicles etc)
Also learning FPGA programming

Motorbikes in general... Riding an old Honda H100S-II at the moment, but currently fixing up a Yamaha Diversion, will probably start fixing up my mates old Suzuki TL1000 after that.

Also I read Discworld novels to pass boring moments.

Also into more modern gaming... Got a PS3, largely for some games that aren't even out yet, but are coming.

Umm.. Application design is another hobby, largely for windows and linux though....

Also.. of course... gadget collecting and using... New and old, as long as they're fun :D
Back to action!

Ah I did forget to add I enjoy the odd fishing trip, not a hobby as such but something else I do (will be going next weekend funny enough).
I got time now so I will go into detail of my hobbies...

CARS:
Slot cars (Currently have about 200 odd).
R/C (Several is all I can say, Oh and 2 boats, 1 custom)
Models (about 10 - 15 1:18 and a good number other scales from 1:24 - 1:72)
Toy cars (TOO MANY, MOVE ON)

PHOTOGRAPHY:
My main camera is a Contax 167MT, first SLR and first totally manual camera but the build of these things are outstanding.
Also have one "buggering about" Vivitar camera but thats an amazing camera itself for what it is.

COMPUTING:
Just recently broardend my horizons, just got a Speccy 48k, planning on getting plenty more 'Strads and so on. Got a couple of ST's and of-course millions of Amiga's! Also like messing about with my 2 WinBoxes (XP isnt so bad I suppose but I do also use Linux on them too)!

HI-FI:
Only recently got into this, Need to get a decent Hi-Fi rack but sadly muissed a bargain Naim amp at a local car-boot, oh well. Need an amp and turntable (Linn Axis, P3 or something like that). I do currrently have 3 Nakamichi cassette decks and a Marantz K.I. Signature CD player. Oh and recently got a pair of Castle Severn SE's quite cheap.
Soon to start working on my car to replace the speeker drive units to a good Hi-Fi spec.

And that's about it form me!

@ HopperJF, Yes the new mondeo is by far the best. Well done.

Old computers. C=, Amiga and I do have an ST also. Basically models and peripherals I've owned or wanted to own.

Gaming. With consoles or PC. Flight and racing simulators are close to my heart.

Transformers. As a kid I was fascinated by the toys and the tv series. My main focus is in G1.

Saab. I'm what could be described as a saabist. I drive a '03 9-3 1.8t. Some day I wish to own a Saab Sonett.

I think I saw it on YouTube. He said he inverted Beethoven's
5th to come up with the 4 notes that made history. I think he's phenomenal guitarist and now he's making the kind
of music he's always preferred, closer to classical stuff.

I too, love drag racing. 1/4 mile is popular in this area, but I may be moving to Tennessee soon - and 1/8 mile is more popular there. I'll sure have to change the car.
The car is Ford Crown Vic (yea, big & heavy - but...) with 4.6 overhead cammer.
Also love throwing a boomerang!
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

A whole list..
So many hobbies so little time,

But in between teaching -
>Creating music (once on Octamed)
>Art and Photography
>posters from around the world.
>retro music, gaming, just coz it's old does not mean the value has gone, quite the opposite in fact.
>films, B-movies, galactic travel- spaceship is at the menders.
>New designs and in technology - gizmos, gadgets, but they must be useful!
And, also recently RTF planes :)

My main hobbies are plain to see whenever anyone enters my house. First thing most people do is trip over a Gibson Les Paul Goldtop (guitar!) - I have 7 guitars I think at the moment including Rickenbackers and stuff, which I'm dead proud of. Next thing they see is 3,000 LPs (they don't see the >1,000 singles until later). Then they see the 800 Atari 2600 cartridges on the mantelpiece, the Linn Axis turntable, and eventually the piano in the corner.

Most people don't get as far as the bedroom which has weird and obscure 1980's microcomputers on every available surface (Commodore 116, Commodore MAX, that sort of thing).

Oh, and I occasionally get chance to work on my 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco. :)
