After years i still got one question about sim city 2000.
I can remember that when building the Launch- archeology things, there was a hint that if you build enough of these things that there was a final secret....
Searching on gamefaqs.com i read in a guide that when you build about 400 of these launch-things that you could launch your city into space :-o
Is this true?
I remember trying, but at one point....
Who's had the patience?

Last round...
Really - no-one ever got this far???
What if i put a bonus of several VIRTUAL :pint: :pint: :pint: on it??

Hmm.. If you want to try, may I suggest you cheat? Type 'fund' two times and then issue a regular bond. This should give you a loan with a negative interest rate, meaning you'll earn 1,5 millions a year IIRC. Should save you some time to build your 400 arcologies. I never saw those Launch arco's myself, I just have a ton of Darco, Forest and Plymouth Arco's.

The saga continues.....
I just went looking on my old HD and my saves are gone :-(
I had this awesome city back then, i earned 80,000 a year and if i am not mistaken i got to 100 or 200 launch arco's.... and it's all gone........
Anyone got a decent savegame, etc, where you have Launch arco's???????
I'm willing to give it a try........
not that it's a psychological thing but i am so curious.

Heh, I'm still trying to get SimCity2000 from my Amithlon box (amiga
hdd ripped out of my old 4000) to my little a1200 (pretty plain).
Maybe I should build one of those null-modem cables ;-)

has no one really seen this? when i was in sixth grade my friend use to show us all this at school. of course he cheated, but still. its really neat, but after wards you gotta replace everything cause you got no city left. small price to pay.
